Ireland Install
Recently Mountain Flame was asked to install a fireplace in Ireland for a customer who lives in the US but is building a family home in Ireland on their family¹s land.
Since there are no Tulikivi distributors in that country we agreed to send Jake and John over to the build the unit.
We arranged to have the fireplace shipped directly to the job site in Ireland from Tulikivi in Finland. Then in May 06 Jake, John and the customer flew over for ten days to build what would become the warm heart of this family home.
When they arrived, they found to their dismay a bigger challenge than anticipated. Rising to the challenge in their usual determined way, they tackled the obstacles including a slim collection of old tools to work with, assembled for them ahead of time.
In the end the custom designed TTLU2700 was successfully built much to the family¹s delight including customized soot plugs carved by Jake. Upon returning home John and Jake felt a true sense of accomplishment.
